Fetch to Give Away $1.2 Million During the Super Bowl

On Sunday February 9, 2025, the shopping app Fetch will run its first-ever Super Bowl ad—a 30-second spot titled ‘The Big Reward.’ It’s bold step forward for “America’s Rewards App,” which allows shoppers to earn free gift cards by submitting receipts from almost any store or restaurant, including grocery stores, Big Box stores and drugstores.

The ad will air following the fourth-quarter two-minute warning, after which the company will give away $10,000 per second for the remaining 120 second of game time—a total of $1.2 million.

The Super Bowl ad will feature Fetch CEO Wes Schroll, who founded the app in 2013.

Giveaway winners will be revealed during a livestream on the Fetch app. In a press release, the company called it “the biggest livestream giveaway associated with an official Big Game advertisement ever.”

Fetch is one of a select few shopping apps that have grown large enough to promote themselves aggressively via traditional media, with other representative examples being the gasoline/dining rewards app Upside, and the digital couponing app, Ibotta.
