Attention mystery shopping enthusiasts. On Friday September 5, 2025, iShopFor Ipsos will be “Talking Shop” once again, this time bringing its annual all-day mystery shopping workshop to Richmond, Virginia. It’s the fourth consecutive year the event has been held, following visits to Los Angeles (2024), Austin (2023) and Atlanta (2022).

Once again, the event offers the chance for mystery shoppers to come together to network, discover new opportunities, and learn valuable new skills.

More specifically, this year’s get-together features nine different workshops, including sessions devoted to mystery shopping best practices, and how to navigate Ipsos’ two shopping platforms: Shopmetrics and Sassie.

There will also be a session (“Passport to Luxury”) that focuses on opportunities to mystery shop high-ends brand all over the world, and how to master video mystery shopping, which can also be very lucrative. There will also be a session devoted to pricing audits, and how to leverage AI for route planning, as well a block of time devoted to “speed dating” six popular mystery shopping programs. Last but not least, there will be a session to devoted to gas station audits, which tend to be popular among shoppers, in part because they typically include reimbursement for a gasoline purchase.

How to Register for ‘Talking Shop’ with iShopFor Ipsos 2025
Tickets to the all-day event are $150, with in-person attendees also invited to a welcome dinner on the evening of Thursday, September 4. If you can’t travel to Richmond to attend in-person, a virtual pass is available for just $10, one that allows you to livestream most of the sessions.

And the Europe/Africa arm of the Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA)  will host its own 2025 conference from May 20-22, in Tallinn, Estonia.
