Point Chief of Staff - Jason Zasky

All Good Points is the brainchild of Jason Zasky, a legally-trained journalist, editor and entrepreneur, whose career has spanned everything from music and sports to payment processing and financial services. With the launch of All Good Points, he’s building a brand devoted to helping consumers maximize the time and money they spend shopping—helping them to earn cash, cash back and other rewards every time they go shopping or make a purchase.
Prior to founding All Good Points, Zasky co-founded Failure magazine, a critically-acclaimed online publication that covered the subject of failure—as well as failure’s close relative, success. As editor of Failure, Zasky had the opportunity to interview many of the world’s most accomplished individuals, including Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, best-selling writer Malcolm Gladwell, and the late African author Chinua Achebe. As media spokesman, he appeared on media outlets/programs like CNN, NPR’s “All Things Considered,” “On the Media” and “Talk of the Nation,” as well as WPR’s “To the Best of Our Knowledge” and international radio outlets like CBC RadioOne (Canada) and SAfm (South Africa National Radio).
Before launching Failure, Zasky served as managing editor for several national music magazines and contributed to a diverse array of music industry publications, including Billboard.com and Acoustic Guitar. His artist interview credits include Metallica, Sheryl Crow, the Fun Lovin’ Criminals and the late Michael Hedges, among many others.
More notably, perhaps, Zasky has experience as an artist himself, having co-founded the adult contemporary hardcore band Black Velvet Flag in the mid-1990s. BVF was named “Best Unsigned Band” in Rolling Stone’s 1995 critics poll. The trio went on to receive recognition via national print publications like Entertainment Weekly and Alternative Press, and appeared as musical guests on the Jon Stewart Show.
Zasky has a J.D. from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, and a B.A. from Emory University in Atlanta.
