To earn cash back with StoreCash:
- Open the app
- Choose the store where you are shopping, either in-store or online
- Before completing the checkout process, enter the total purchase amount in StoreCash
- If ca barcode scanner is available, scan the provided barcode or QR code at the point of sale.
If not, input the card number and PIN issued by StoreCash and complete your purchase (either online or in-store) - Cash back is instantly credited to your StoreCash account
Once you have begun to accumulate cash back, you can use your earned cash back (represented by StoreCash points) toward future purchases.

Yes! The process is much the same as when using the StoreCash app in a brick & mortar store.
- Open the app
- Choose the online store where you are shopping
- Before completing the checkout process, enter the total purchase amount in StoreCash and hit “cash out”
- Input the card number and PIN issued by StoreCash into the gift card field on the retailer’s site and pay for your order
- Cash back is instantly credited to your StoreCash account
In general, you are likely to earn more cash back with StoreCash, as compared to making purchases with other payment apps and tools. And you earn the cash back instantly, as opposed to waiting days, weeks, or months for it to be credited, as may be the case with shopping portals and other shopping apps.
You can also choose to receive alerts when you’re near stores offering cash back deals.
The main drawback to StoreCash is that if there isn’t a barcode or QR code scanner at the point of sale, the 16-digit digital gift card number and four-digit PIN code issued by StoreCash need to be inputted manually. In some cases, it requires the cashier to input those numbers into their point-of-sale system, which can be a hassle and not worth the effort if it’s a small purchase.
Also, you can’t use a credit card as a payment method with StoreCash; you must have a debit card.
