Earning and saving money at CVS begins with coupons and the 2% cash back offered by the ExtraCare® ExtraBucks Rewards program. But it doesn’t end there. You can stack cash back using Ibotta & Raise, and use other valuable shopping apps to earn cash and free gift cards when shopping at CVS.
Ibotta
As of this writing, you can submit your CVS receipts to Ibotta and earn 4% cash back on your in-store purchases.
You can also earn additional cash back using Ibotta by purchasing select products featured in the app. While you’re in the app, select the products you plan to purchase at CVS, then purchase those products. You can redeem your Ibotta digital coupons automatically by linking your CVS account to Ibotta, or submit receipts manually.
Raise
To instantly earn 2% cash back on in-store, pharmacy and online purchases at CVS, pay with Raise, a free cash back payment app.
Don’t yet have Raise? Download it from the App Store or from Google Play. Or visit our Raise FAQ page to learn how the app works and why it’s such a valuable payment tool.
To earn cash back at CVS with Raise, your purchase(s) must be between $5 and $500.
Fluz
To instantly earn up to 6% cash back on purchases at CVS, pay with Fluz, a free cash back payment app that allows you to purchase CVS gifts cards of $10 – $100. As of this writing, Fluz is offering a “boost” that allows you to earn 25% on the first $10 you spend, plus 6% on the full purchase amount.
Want to sign up with Fluz? You’ll get a free $5 and All Good Points will get $5 if you use referral code ALLGOOD at signup and spend at least $15 in the app.
Fetch
After you shop at CVS, submit your paper receipt to Fetch, which allows you to earn free gift cards by submitting grocery and shopping receipts. Watch for Fetch point-bonuses on specific product purchases at CVS to maximize your points earned.
Learn more about Fetch via our Fetch FAQ page. Note that you can also earn 60 Fetch points per $1 spent when shopping CVS online via Fetch Shop.
Don’t yet have the Fetch app? To support All Good Points, use this link (referral code RPJ4FU) when you sign up for Fetch and we’ll both earn points. (Fetch referral offers vary over time, but generally speaking we’ll both earn $2 – $3.50 for the referral.)
Shopkick
Shopkick is an easy-to-use barcode scanning app that typically offers a lot of opportunities at CVS stores. Just scan the barcodes of products featured in the app, and purchase those same products to earn large point bonuses that can quickly lead to free gift cards.
Lolli
Until recently it was possible to earn 2% cash back on ALL purchases at CVS using Lolli, a free rewards app, web site and browser extension that allows users to earn cash back or Sats back (bitcoin) when shopping in-store and online at select brands.
As of this writing, Lolli’s “card boost” functionality appears to be turned off. In early July 2025, Matt Luongo (co-founder of Fold) announced that his company Thesis, has acquired Lolli. The Thesis team is currently in the process of “leveling up” Lolli’s features; hopefully Lolli’s cash back card boosts return when the app is returned to full functionality, likely by October 2025.
Don’t yet have Lolli? Sign up using this link and earn $5 when you make your first card boosted purchase via a linked card/account. (All Good Points will also earn $1 when you sign up, and $5 when you make your first purchase). Or learn more about Lolli on AGP’s Lolli FAQ page.
Field Agent
Want to earn cash while shopping at CVS? Check the Field Agent app before you go or while in-store.
Field Agent is a popular store/brand auditing app that pays cash for doing in-store photo audits and other tasks and frequently has micro-jobs at CVS; the founder of All Good Points has earned almost $30,000 using Field Agent, and top users earn five-figures each year using the app, so it’s definitely worth using.
Don’t yet have Field Agent? Learn more at our Field Agent FAQ page. Also consider checking other popular store/brand auditing apps when you visit CVS, with Mobee and ByMyEye arguably the next most likely to have jobs at CVS.
ExtraCare® ExtraBucks Rewards
Earnings and cash back savings from all of the above apps can be stacked on top of CVS’ ExtraCare ExtraBucks Rewards® program, which offers 2% cash back on qualifying purchases. Just use your ExtraCare Rewards card, your phone number or the app at checkout. Then send your earned rewards to your ExtraCare card and redeem those earnings on future visits to CVS.
Meanwhile, the ExtraCare ExtraBucks program also offers other benefits, like a $3 birthday reward, and reward credits for filling prescriptions and getting a flu shot or vaccine.
CVS ExtraPlus®
CVS also has ExtraPlus®, a paid membership program that offers free delivery of eligible prescriptions and other rewards benefits, including 20% off eligible CVS Health brand products in store and online.
As of this writing, an ExtraCare Plus membership is $5 a month or $48 a year for annual subscribers.
