According to the Cashwalk Terms of Service, Stepcoins are “units of exchange that users of the Cashwalk app may generate through verified physical movement. StepCoins may be used to redeem awesome prizes, products, and benefits, as well as being used as credit to play games within the Cashwalk application for the chance to win a grand prize.”
Uses earn 1 StepCoin for each 100 steps.
Users can earn up to 100 StepCoins per day. StepCoins need to be collected before 11:59 PM Pacific time each day or they expire.

The Cashwalk app is free to download and use. It rewards users with credits (“StepCoins”) that are accumulated by walking, running, playing online games and taking surveys. StepCoins can be redeemed for gift cards.
The main way to earn StepCoins with the Cashwalk app is by walking or running. Then you “tap the coinbox” daily to add to your StepCoin balance. (Alternatively, you can collect your Stepcoins by setting the Cashwalk Lockscreen widget).
Other ways to earn Cashwalk StepCoins:
1. Download and play online games. The games need to be downloaded via Cashwalk’s partner platforms: PlayTime, Tapjoy or Digital Turbine
2. Take in-app surveys through Cashwalk’s survey partner, Pollfish.
Don’t forget to “tap the coinbox” every day, otherwise your StepCoins will expire at 11:59 pm Pacific time.
Yes. According to Cashwalk’s Terms and Conditions, StepCoins that are collected by the users will expire at the end of the calendar month one year after they are earned.”
Cashwalk’s users can redeem StepCoins for gift cards via the Rewards tab in the app.
As of this writing, users can choose from among 25 different gift card options, including:

- WalMart
- Starbucks
- Dunkin’
- Barnes & Noble
Users must have at least 500 StepCoins “obtained by walking” to redeem a gift card.
In our estimation, it’s worth downloading Cashwalk and giving it a try, especially if you take 10,000 steps on a daily basis. It’s an easy way to earn a little extra income, as all you need to do is walk and collect your StepCoin(s) before midnight each day.
That said, the Cashwalk app—by itself—isn’t going to make a big financial difference in your life. Meanwhile, you get 100 StepCoins when a friend or family member joins; you get an additional 1,000 StepCoins when they earn 500 coins by walking.
