What is Evidation?

Evidation (formerly Achievement) is a free health app that “aims to create new ways to measure and improve health in everyday life.” Specifically, it allows you to earn Program Points by taking healthy actions like walking, running and connecting health apps.

How Does Evidation Work?

Simply sign up and begin earning cash by: answering questions about your health and health goals; and having your activity tracked via one of 17 different health apps, with FitBit, Garmin, Google Fit, MapMyFitness and Apple Health being representative examples. If you like, you can also choose to participate in cutting-edge research that aims to improve health.

You can earn up to 100 points per day for the healthy actions tracked by your health app(s)/wearables, and by reading articles, taking surveys, joining health programs and participating in research studies.

Additional activities that earn points include (but are not limited to):

  • Tracking your blood pressure
  • Tracking your glucose level
  • Tracking your heart rate
  • Tracking your weight
  • Tracking your workouts

Finally, you can also earn points by referring a friend or family member to Evidation. You earn 100 points for every referral (up to 20 referrals) after your friend creates an account using your referral code and connects an app or completes a qualifying action.

How Much Does the Evidation App Pay?

Evidation pays $10 for every 10,000 points accrued. According to the company, users can earn up to 100 points per day for the healthy actions tracked by connected health app(s), and also by taking actions like reading health-oriented articles, answering health questions and taking surveys.

Redeeming Evidation Points

An Evidation user can cash out when s/he reaches 10,000 points. According to Evidation’s FAQ page, there are five different ways to redeem Evidation Points.

  • PayPal
  • Gift card
  • Prepaid Visa card (either virtual or physical)
  • Donation to charity
  • Bank deposit

The editors of All Good Points typically use the PayPal option, which has always worked smoothly, in our experience.

If you choose PayPal to redeem your points, you receive an email with the message: “Your $10.00 PayPal USA transfer is on its way. The funds will be in your PayPal account shortly.”

Typically it takes between one and five business days to receive your reward, which is delivered to the email address associated with your Evidation account.

Do Evidation Points Expire?

According to Evidation’s above-linked FAQ page, points only expire when an account is no longer active. To remain active, an account must complete one card (i.e., read an article or complete a survey) within the past 12 months.

Does Evidation Share or Sell Your Personal Information?

No. According to Evidation’s FAQ page, the company does not sell its users’ personal information: “We will share your health data outside of Evidation only with your consent or your direction, and to provide our services.”

How to Delete Your Evidation Account

To delete your account, log in to the app and navigate to Profile (bottom menu), then Settings. At the bottom of the screen, tap “Delete Account (Right to Delete)” and confirm. You will receive an email verifying your request.
