sMiles is a free walking rewards app that allows you to earn Bitcoin rewards “for things you already do,” like walking, shopping online, taking surveys and playing arcade games on your phone. It’s an outlier as compared to most other ‘get paid to walk’ apps, which typically compensate users with cash or gift cards.

– Shop via the sMiles appsMiles also has a loyalty rewards check-in program at select stores in the Bitcoinverse. After making a purchase at a partnering location, tap the sMiles NFC tag at the cashier to receive a Bitcoin award.
Earn Bitcoin cash back on purchases at select online retailers that have partnered with sMiles. The cash back percentage varies, depending on the merchant.
Note: sMiles will not pay the Bitcoin cash back reward if it does not receive commission from the merchant. Reasons why a merchant might not pay the commission include tracking issues, program restrictions or use of coupon code(s) that invalidate the sMiles cash back offer.
Cash back rewards typically appear in your sMiles account within a few days, along with an accompanying email advising of sats earned.
There are 100 million sats in one Bitcoin. A sat is the smallest unit of Bitcoin.
sMiles app users who have verified their phone number can deposit earned Bitcoin rewards into any Bitcoin Lighting Wallet. Simply enter the amount you want to send on sMiles and tap “Send sats.” Alternatively, you can create an invoice in a Bitcoin Lighting Wallet for any amount available in your sMiles balance, open sMiles and then press “Send sats.”
The current withdrawal minimum is 50,000 sats, but sMiles advises that “the minimum withdrawal threshold may vary over time.” Also, “Small Lightning Network transaction fees might be added when withdrawing sats.”
As of this writing, sMiles recommends using one of the following Bitcoin Lighting Wallets: Wallet of Satoshi, BitKit, Zues Wallet, BlueWallet, Muun, Breez or Phoenix.
Go to account settings, scroll down to Account Deletion and click ‘delete account.’ You should receive an email code to finalize the deletion process.
