If you’re a fan of shopping apps that pay cash, have I got good news for you.

On February 13, A Closer Look launched an app that offers a brand-new way to make money while shopping and dining.

The app is called FotoPay™ and offers a refreshingly simple concept, especially as compared to its closest competitors. All of the jobs require just one photo, and all pay $2.

To date, FotoPay jobs (or “gigs”) fall into one of three buckets.
Job Type #1: Order a specific entrée, sandwich or drink at a particular eatery or fast-food restaurant and submit a picture of what you are served. You earn $2 from the photo, thereby offsetting some of the cost of your purchase.

Typically there are a couple options in terms of what you can order to eat or drink. The main things to remember are:
– You have to go to the location (address) specified;
– You need to on-site when you take the photo;
– You need to submit the photo through the app

Job Type #2: Take a picture of a particular display or shelf section in a specified store. A hypothetical example would be: Take a photo of the shelf section where (brand) of soup is on display.

Again, you go to the location (address) specified; you need to on-site when you take the photo; and you need to submit the photo through the app.

Job Type #3: Take a selfie in front of a particular store or eatery. As with all FotoPay gigs, a reference photo is provided, so you have a good idea of what your photo ought to look like.

It’s that easy! No long-winded instructions or complicated requirements. The sample photo included with each job gives you a good idea of what your photo should look like. Following the instructions and snapping a pic takes just a minute of your time.

Is FotoPay Available Nationwide?
According to the FotoPay team, the app already offers thousands of jobs across a dozen major markets in the United States:  Atlanta, New York, Dallas, Orlando, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Detroit, Nashville and Boston.

You might also find gigs available in smaller cities, too, with Huntsville, Alabama being one example.

To get started with FotoPay, simply download the app at FotoPayArmy.com and give it a try! If you have any questions, you’ll likely find the answers on AGP’s Guide to FotoPay, which we’ll update as the app evolves.
