BeMyEye is a free app you can use to earn cash while shopping. BeMyEye users (‘Eyes’) gather information for brands and retailers by taking photos, monitoring promotions and completing other tasks in stores. The intelligence gathered helps client companies deliver the best products and experiences to their customers.
BeMyEye is a mystery shopping-type crowdsourcing app—a product of London-based BeMyEye Holdings Ltd. Shoppers use their smartphones to deliver photos and data to companies about how their products are displayed in stores. In return, users are compensated with cash—paid to their bank accounts or PayPal account. All tasks—or “missions”—are completed in the app.
Yes. BeMyEye is a legit app. As of February 2025 it has a 4.5 out of 5 stars rating in the App Store, and a 4.4 out of 5 stars rating in Google Play.
As of this writing, BeMyEye can be used in the United States, United Kingdom, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
After you have downloaded BeMyEye, review the “missions” available in your geographic area. To accept a mission, review the instructions and click the green “Reserve” button at the bottom of the instructions. Then complete the work—submitting any required photos and information—inside the app.
After your work is approved, your earnings will display in the Available Cash section on the app’s home page.

There are a variety of different missions available to BeMyEye users. Most of the missions require you to go to a store to take photos and answer questions.
Example missions include:
- Store Checks involve taking photos and collecting information, typically about products, prices and displays.
- Shelf Checks ask users to photograph shelves. Typically the user is asked to take pictures of an entire category of product, in a guided and specific way.
- Mystery Shopping missions ask users to speak with store staffers about which brands/products they recommend.
- Outdoors missions ask users to photograph outdoor elements, like billboards or storefronts.
- At Home missions offer the opportunity to provide your opinion of a specific brand or product, or answer questions about what you have seen on television.
In the U.S., BeMyEye’s location-specific jobs typically pay between $3 and $10.
The more missions you complete, the more rewards, benefits and bonuses accrue to you. For example, as you “level up,” you are afforded more time to complete missions, and you can hold more mission reservations at the same time.
BeMyEye earnings can be cashed out to PayPal, or to a bank account.
Yes. You can send your BeMyEye referral code (found on the Invitations page in the app) to friends and family members via text or email. If a friend accepts your invite, you each receive $1 after your friend successfully completes his/her first mission. In major metropolitan areas in the United States, BeMyEye offers a fairly high volume of missions that make it worth trying, especially if you’re a fan of similar store/brand auditing apps like Field Agent, Observa and Mobee.
