Mobee

It varies. Some missions take as little as a minute to complete and most can be completed in less than 15 minutes. The instructions for each mission include an estimate for how long the job is expected to take, as well as the number of questions you will be asked and the number of photos required.

In most cases, no. But if a mission requires a purchase, that requirement will be listed in the mission’s instructions. Your reimbursement for the required purchase will be included in the points rewarded for the mission.

As soon as you submit a job, it becomes “pending” and goes to Mobee for validation. Mission validation typically occurs within 48 hours, but can take longer—up to 15 days, per Mobee’s Terms and Conditions. Validators consider factors like photo clarity, data accuracy and honesty.

Your Mission history is found under the Profile tab in the Mobee App. There you will find:
– The Missions you have completed, where they were completed, and how many points they were worth.

– Pending missions are in grey, accepted missions are green, and rejected missions are in red. Bonuses earned are in orange and rewards claimed are in pink.

When a mission is approved you receive a push notification and reward points are added to your account. If the mission earns you points towards a larger “Achievement” those are delivered as well.

If a Mission is rejected, you will receive an email that contains:
– The reason(s) for the rejection
– Tips for what Mobee is looking for
– The client’s expectations
– Additional resources that may help you in the future

You can appeal the decision by replying to Mobee’s decision email. Mobee promises that appeals will be reviewed and a “final decision” issued within seven business days. Once a decision has been appealed it cannot be appealed again.

Mobee urges its ‘Bees’ to be “as discreet as possible” when completing missions and taking pictures, as “staff should not know that you’re evaluating the store.”

Specifically, “if you are asked to stop by management … we ask that you please be respectful of the store’s rules and comply with what they tell you to do—even if it means putting the mission on hold or abandoning the mission during the visit.” Above all, “please do not claim that you’re working for a particular brand or retailer.”

Bottom line, per Mobee” “If you encounter trouble with an employee or feel uncomfortable at a location, please don’t complete the mission! Make sure you get yourself in a safe and comfortable situation.” Then email Mobee and let them know what happened and the location you were at.

As noted by its Terms and Conditions, Mobee reward points do not correspond to any specific monetary value. But informally, you can consider each Mobee point as being worth approximately one cent.

Mobee also issues bonus points, which can be earned in a variety of ways. For example, if it is your first mission at a particular store, bonus points may be issued. Also, bonus points can be earned based on distanced travel, and if your most recent mission was more than 10 miles away from the previous mission, bonus points may be awarded.

According to Mobee, additional credit can be awarded at the discretion of the Mobee validation team.

Cash in Mobee points for digital gift cards, which are delivered via email. Gift cards can be redeemed for as little as 500 Mobee points. Typically, a $5.00 gift card requires 500 points, a $10.00 gift card 1,000 points, a $25.00 gift card 2,500 points, a $50.00 gift card 5,000 points, a $100.00 gift card 100,000 points and a $200.00 gift card 200,000 points.

Mobee gift card rewards are available to users in the United States and Canada.

Your rewards history can be found by clicking on “My Rewards” in the “Rewards” tab. 
To redeem an award with Mobee simply click ‘Rewards’ on the bottom of the Home screen, then review the list of gift cards available. Select a gift card/reward amount from the menu and click ‘Use Points’ to claim your reward.
